I have started out with audiovisual translations, moved on to heavy machinery, and focused on automotive texts, but the main thread in my career has been marketing and IT. I have worked with CAT (computer-assisted translation) tools ever since 2006, and I am familiar with all it takes to handle large volumes of text efficiently with short turnarounds. Since I have a background that spans both marketing communication and technical documents, I focus on accuracy as much as I do on style and turn of phrase. English to Romanian certified translator, 
Before becoming independent, I have spent several years as an in-house linguist for a major LSP, learning how to handle the entire translation process. My studies in linguistics have taken me from UAIC Iași to Sorbonne, Paris, while my work has taken me from the technical side of translation to the more creative one. I focus on proofreading, Linguistic Quality Assurance and spotting errors in texts before they go to print. Certified by the Romanian Ministries of Culture and Justice for German&French.
